Bergianti - Stiolo Rosso '20
Red, Ancestral Method. Dense, intense business here - rich and bold red with a moving toward a reddish-purple color in the center of the glass. With a touch of black licorice scent, Stiolorosso presents a refined yet primal aromatic profile, with a bold, earthy backbone of fruit. This is a wine to take your time on, as it is very alive in the glass. Try it over several days to let its dark, earthy, sauvage nature evolve: it is alive and seemingly always changing in the glass. Or enjoy it with friends and food, it can also dissapear rather quickly! Perfect summer bubbles.
About the Winemaker
Bergianti is a family run vineyard in Modena, Emiliana, Italy. The vineyard grows on a loamy-sandy terrain where the Lambrusco grapes find their maximum expression. Each process from pruning to harvest is strictly manual. Using biodynamic farming practices their aim is to bring to the cellar grapes that are healthy and lively. In this way they only need to accompany them during the vinification process with no enological interference. Absolutely banging summer bubbles, not to be missed.
