Bergianti - No Autoclave '21
"No Autoclave" is a wine that screams at the top of its lungs the tradition of refermented in Emilia, which is not an autoclave. The base is Lambrusco, but it is blended wtih small white grapes such as Pignolesco and Sorbara. After the manual harvest of the grapes, fermentation occurs spontaneously in concrete tanks, with a second refermentation in the bottle. No clarification or filtration nor addition of sulfur before bottling. Refined for two years on the lees. A fresh and taut wine, pleasant and refreshing, with hints of wild strawberries and bread crust.
Variety : Salamino di S.Croce, Sorbara, Pignolesco in variable percentages based on the vintage.
About the Winemaker
Bergianti is a family run vineyard in Modena, Emiliana, Italy. The vineyard grows on a loamy-sandy terrain where the Lambrusco grapes find their maximum expression. Each process from pruning to harvest is strictly manual. Using biodynamic farming practices their aim is to bring to the cellar grapes that are healthy and lively. In this way they only need to accompany them during the vinification process with no enological interference. Absolutely banging summer bubbles, not to be missed.
