Producers
Since 2020 we started importing natural wines from a small selection of producers. We started mainly in France as we drive there often and we value direct contact with the maker to see how they approach the field and cellar. We are building things slowly with emphasis on trust and kindness, including our website. This is not our complete portfolio, but we are adding profiles as we go. Online shop coming soon, till then shop in person on the Klarestraat 18 in Arnhem, NL or sample our import at our restaurant on Hertogstraat 46, Arnhem NL and many more places throughout the Netherlands.
Alsace - Anaïs Fanti
Ammerschwihr is where Anaïs grew up and returned to after some formative years in Georgia to leave her day job as a nurse and become a third generation winemaker tending the vines that have been in the family for up to 50 years.. She looks after 1.5 hectares of Gewurtztraminer, Auxerrois and Pinot Noir. She practices biodynamic farming promoting permaculture in the land. Her cellar is modest, located under the house of her grandmother, mainly using stainless steel tanks, her wines are clean, made in a thoughtful and practical manner. We love working with Anais and are very happy she's coming to visit on December 11th to host a tasting in our shop and join our 3 course dinner in the restaurant. You can book your seats here.
